Catching the eye
When clients need to be better informed about your services, a video can help explain the complexities in way that’s entertaining as well as informative.
This can be particularly useful when the subject matter is something people would rather not think about, like workplace accidents and insurance. A video that achieves a balance between eye-catching and thought-provoking can have a big effect on its audience.
Travelers asked Shoot You to produce a series of animations that would help their clients to evaluate risks in their own businesses when assessing their insurance requirements.
The video would need to be visually striking and compelling as the subject matter would be asking businesses to think carefully about the risks in their places of work.
Keeping it simple
As we needed to make a big visual impact with this video it was decided to use a highly dynamic 3D animation. Each video needed to be fast paced to hold the viewer’s attention and have a relatively short run-time.
The entire story had to be told in the animation of the video as there would be no voice over on this project.
Simple silhouettes of objects and people were used in combination with recognisable symbols (i.e. exclamation signs) to highlight dangers viewers may not have considered.
Adding to the strong aesthetic, we stuck to a very limited colour palette (echoing Travelers’ own branding).
