Robotic Process Automation (RPA) in the workplace.

Corporate video, and particularly animation, excels at visualising the intangible. An animated video can take an idea and turn it into something that the viewer can see. So when the subject is a software program, not something easily filmed, it makes sense to turn to animation.
Allianz is an international insurance company that is using new technologies to streamline its business.
Allianz asked Shoot You to create them an animated video that explained their use of robotic process automation – software robots that can do repetitive work in a fraction of the time a human would take.
The video had to explain how Allianz plans to use robots in the future to speed up their services and reduce errors.
Focus on the benefits
When we talk about robots, we almost always think of mechanical devices that move and manipulate objects – highly visual and interesting to film. When the robot in question only exists in software, however, the challenge is greater.
In this video we are able to create a sense of what the robots are doing in the visuals by using animation to represent some of the ideas explored in the voice over.
Animated icons allow us to keep key messages to the fore, demonstrating how the robots work in a conceptual way.
As we move on to the benefits to humans, i.e. Allianz employees and customers, the video suddenly changes to live action. It’s an interesting contrast and serves to bring the viewer to the conclusion that robotics can make the lives of humans easier.
