J.P. Morgan Brief
J.P. Morgan’s #NextList2017 was a Twitter campaign to promote new and important cultural experiences. The campaign relied heavily on video which was disseminated through the company’s various social media channels.
Literature, art, music and theatre were all given the video treatment, creating an effective viral marketing campaign. Audiences were able to watch in-depth interviews with the creators of the work that J.P. Morgan’s global team had curated.
J.P. Morgan asked Shoot You to produce the videos, requesting a tasteful style closer to a television magazine show segment than a traditional corporate video. The videos would showcase the selections on the #NextList2017 and invite viewers to find out more.
Planting the seed
Our directors, with their BBC training, were more than up to the task of creating videos that were of the standard J.P. Morgan were looking for. We were able to shoot on location, creatively capturing atmospheric, engaging performances to edit in with interview footage.
Our job was to entice the audiences to want to know more and to seek out the information for themselves, as well as share the videos with their friends through social media.
Editing was key to the success of these videos. We needed to include enough performance for audiences to get a taste, but focus mainly on the interview material which was unique to the project.
We’re proud of the quality of these productions and the positive effect they had on the artists featured on the #NextList2017.
