We first started working with Aggreko in 2013. In 2016, they re-branded and chose us to produce all of their video content, set the tone and style for their future work and implement all changes across their new website.
Aggreko needed a video production company with which it could develop a true partnership. Specifically they were looking for a business which was able to deal with short lead times and lend their creative expertise to push boundaries in content creation for a traditional B2B company.
The aim was to create a brand video for Aggreko to show the scale and power of the global corporation, through local and personal impact.
We worked with Aggreko and their partners to establish their new brand guidelines and visual identity. Importantly, we needed to ensure that all video material and graphics created would be designed to work well on all video platforms as well as the website.
Multiple camera shoots were organised around the globe. We arranged access to key Aggreko sites, gaining consent to film their processes, workers and clients, as well as reconstructed scenes with actors. Locations were chosen based on which ones would be most powerful in terms of conveying their services, landscape and accessibility to crew.
Next, we established how Aggreko worked with their clients in each of the chosen locations. It was important to understand the processes involved and the outcomes of their partnerships. A script was developed for the video to create a narrative that would engage the audience emotionally, whilst also being informative.
We put together a storyboard to create a visual representation of the video and align the script with the images.
After shooting 4K in some of the most challenging and remote locations, including a power plant in Guam and a mine in Western Australia, we began the post-production process. First, we selected the most beautiful footage and constructed an edit. We complimented the footage with graphics that were designed inline with their brand guidelines. Finally, we colour graded the locked edit, and a voiceover track and awe-inspiring music was added to set the tone.
This video has featured on social media, redirecting new Aggreko customers to their website.
By raising awareness of their brand within the digital sphere they have had a noticeable increase in sales. Due to this, we have had the privilege of producing over 40 videos and animations in English, as well as re-versioning these for their global audience.
