Video for Charities
The use of video is being increasingly embraced by charities and the companies that support them. Once shot, the video can be re-edited for fundraising, training, and even PR. The video can be placed on DVD, a website or, most recently, sent via e mail to acquire further donations.
Shoot You have a rolling pro bono programme to help charity's get the most from video. We’ll also edit video which has been recorded by charity representatives to keep the costs down.
Examples of 2007 assignments:
Fundraising Events
A charities work is usually very ‘photogenic’ and events are often sponsored by corporations as part of their corporate social responsibility. A short video to illustrate an event which includes sponsor’s logos is a marvellous way to highlight a charitable occasion and ensure increased publicity for corporate sponsors.
Talking Heads
Whether it’s a successful case study, a message from a charity's patron, or a celebrity endorsement, on-camera interviews can be very powerful.
Shoot You work internationally to acquire interviews and were proud to have produced Weber Shandwick’s award winning work (Gold Quill First Prize: May 2007) for our work with The International Osteoporosis Foundation.
Video Newsletters
Video is a great way to show development on current initiatives. Whether a building is being erected or vaccine distributed a monthly ‘webcast’ is a great way to see progress of charitable work. Donors can actually monitor where their money is going on a regular basis and feel more connected to projects.
Conferences
Shoot You produce high impact video to be shown at a conference. The videos usually highlight the work of the charity internationally and draw together all the strands -local and national events, video, still photographs, press coverage- into one exciting presentation.
Pro Bono
Shoot You work free of charge once a month for charity. This initiative is always in great demand and often overbooked but if you’d like us to record an event or perhaps record an interview for your website please contact Quint and we’ll see what we can do.
