We increasingly produce video for Imperial College London to promote their teaching and research initiatives.
All the videos are provided on DVD, streamed and as a podcast.
A video prospectus provides children and parents with an immersive, narrated, virtual tour, as well as providing insight into a schools heritage, culture and philosophy.
It’s perhaps also the most cost effective way to promote your school, college or University.
Video is very accessible for the ‘youth’ demographic and there are no distribution costs.
An interactive DVD prospectus can promote all areas of the school for example it’s various buildings, classrooms and sports facilities.
It can include interviews with your teaching staff, encouraging testimonials from your current pupils and references from past alumni.
Branded graphics can be produced to detail the curriculum and courses on offer, graphics can also include third party metrics such as 'Ofsted' reports.
Once produced the master video can be re-edited and repurposed for a wide variety of occasions. It can also be recompressed for multiple formats such as DVD, FLV’s and to stream from mobile phones. Most recently our ‘education’ clients have uploaded their videos to social media sites such as ‘Facebook’ and MySpace.
Unlike a paper prospectus (out of date when it rolls of the press) an online video prospectus is future proof. If required, elements of the video can be easily updated in just a day or two to include the very latest news.
A video prospectus is virtually free to distribute. There is no postage, links to the video can be sent and shared instantaneously so the video can be watched when it's convenient for friends and parents alike.
With a video prospectus it’s also possible to tell who watched the videos, where they watched them and for how long.
To encourage overseas students the voice over on the video can be quickly dubbed into any foreign language. This means it can be used to promote your school overseas e.g. in India, Russia or China.
As well as producing videos for many schools universities and colleges we have worked with the Teacher Development Agency (TDA), Anytime Anywhere Learning (AAL) and TSL.
Shoot You feel video is the most cost effective way to ensure your institution stands out for all the reasons it should. We have a wealth of experience in producing video within education so please feel free to call us to talk about how you might want to start to use video as a resource.
