Allianz wanted their brokers to highlight the service they offer

Allianz is a multinational financial services company, with a focus on insurance. Brokers they deal with are key customers and they asked Shoot You to visit them, to record a series of testimonials.
They would help gain new business from industry colleagues of the brokers, who would have similar requirements.
Structuring the testimonials in an interview style appeared a good choice. An opportunity to ask the same questions of each interviewee, which Allianz helped us create.
The heads of the brokerships are themselves busy CEOs of their companies, although with the help of their PAs and Allianz, an interview schedule was soon arranged.
We shot the on location interviews with a dual camera set up, one on a tripod, the other on a slider. Ideal for interviewees
This reduces the need for them to do anything other than respond as they wish, our crew able to cut between cameras, maintain contact and flow.
We also ensured the same producer/interviewer was used throughout. For continuity and even with set questions, being aware of previous responses can help create variation at later interviews.
This production was not intended to be an animated video as such, although the approach proved ideal for emphasis and to segment the video.
Motion graphics, a form of animated video, were used to add zest. As importantly, they are a great way to clarify a message.
The animation did create appeal, in a video where we decided not to use background music, beyond adding a little at the tail.
Once the interviews were cut and phased into sections, we recognised that the interviewees presence and input spoke for them.
With editing complete and the talking heads scenarios blending in well, the video was delivered in the formats required.
Whether on the web, or at individual presentations, testimonial videos can be valuable sales aids. We understand this was the case for Allianz and were pleased to offer assistance to their sales team.
