Multiple cameras and technology reflect the energy of the Herbalife Festival

The Herbalife annual festival is an event of pure energy, to leave their delegates feeling they are the best. Non stop action driven by everyone attending, from sales staff, to board members.
Shoot You were asked to produce a corporate video with a vibrancy to match the spirit of the festival. Also to leave anyone not attending wishing they had and to make sure they were as enthused as those who did.
There is no better medium than video to mix action with atmosphere and we wanted none to be missed. From the fine city of Barcelona, to the conference venue, to the entertainment and inspiring presentations.
Herbalife worked closely with us to identify important detail from a well organised schedule. A guide script soon created and camera location planned, although we knew that reacting to events would be important.
Background footage of the city was a pleasure to shoot, along with the action. Eight cameras were used internally, including a drone and an 18 foot jib, to film from a wide variety of interesting angles.
Although we had a script, the secret of this type of video is allowing experienced operators and camera crew to be creative. They were, a wonderful collection of footage captured to reflect an absorbing event.
Editing a video of this type is about choreography, balance and timing to create a seamless experience. In this case, one needing to portray non stop energy, which we literally made explosive.
Use of hyper-lapse techniques and picture in picture to draw together multiple shots were perfect to keep the high pace rhythm. A sound track blended in to match the effect.
Nobody could accuse this corporate video of being dull but Herbalife wanted more, a real share in the experience.
We understand that feedback from viewers reflects this, a great memory for some, those not attending certainly seeing what they missed.
