The Herbalife annual vacation is a key staff incentive for their members. Shoot You were asked to produce a video Herbalife members could watch online, a great way to reach a well spread workforce.
This video would be the launch tool to promote Herbalife's 2015 EMEA vacation. Helping staff see the benefit they could earn from sales throughout the year.
Herbalife understand their staff and we had the advantage of having made a number of videos for them. Everyone agreed the production needed to be creative, lighthearted and inspiring.
Along with offering a memorable message, a mix of animated video, motion graphics and reality met those criteria. We jointly decided to use animated postcards as the theme, ideal for a holiday focus.
A series of postcards from popular destinations were used to create a narrative, the fun members had at previous locations combining with a showcase of forthcoming events. The postage stamps on them animated to highlight the locations of each cruise.
Previous Herbalife videos were de-archived from our vaults, sections of the footage edited and amalgamated with the newly created animated video production.
The video was rendered using Cinema 4D. Perfect for the creative, playful theme, light bleeds and heavy grading used to create a vibrant feel.
Our client considered the degree of saturation favoured by many instagram users but we gently suggested this could be going too far.
A combination of upbeat, license free music tracks proved equally effective in creating the right tone. Joyful to match the offer and making this clear.
The video was released in two sections, as teasers, to build excitement online amongst Herbalife members. Herbalife and their staff were delighted with the approach, they are keen to use this again in forthcoming promotions.
